The Desert Ridge Junior High School Band is a program that has a rich history of excellence through music performance since the school’s opening in 2001. The DRJH band program features three musical ensembles:
7th Grade Concert Band
8th Grade Concert Band
8th Grade Jazz Band
In all performing ensembles, students are taught meaningful lessons such as; the meaning of integrity, perseverance through adversity, repetitive practice to refine skills, and respect of others. These lessons are taught through music, but can be applied to all academic core classes and in real-life scenarios.
